Jewelry Care Instructions
Every Canada Jewelry Hub piece is made with quality in mind. Fine jewelry needs only a little care to stay brilliant for a lifetime. Here are a few simple habits that help.
Keep it dry
Water won't harm your jewelry, but keeping it dry helps prevent build-up that makes it look dull. Take your pieces off before swimming (chlorine especially), showering, working out or other physical activities.
Check clasps and stones regularly
Over time, and with long exposure to the elements, clasps and stones can loosen. We recommend having your jewelry checked every 12 to 18 months.
Use the right cloth
Clean and polish your jewelry only with a soft, non-abrasive cloth, since rougher materials can leave tiny micro-scratches. For heavier build-up, use warm water, a little dish soap and an extra-soft brush kept just for your jewelry.
Put your jewelry on last
Be gentle with your pieces when getting dressed or undressed so they don't catch or snag.
Take it off before bed
Don't sleep in your jewelry. When storing it, keep each piece separate rather than piled on top of one another.
