Manufacturer's Warranty

Every Canada Jewelry Hub piece is crafted with close attention to quality, detail and fine workmanship. We stand behind what we make, and every piece of our jewelry comes with a one-year limited manufacturer's warranty.

What's covered

This warranty protects you against defects in materials or workmanship that come from the manufacturing process, including:

  • Structural flaws in the design or craftsmanship
  • Stones that come loose because they were set incorrectly
  • Broken clasps, prongs or other hardware caused by a manufacturing defect

What's not covered

To keep things fair and guard against misuse, this warranty doesn't cover:

  • Loss, theft or unexplained disappearance of your jewelry
  • Damage from accidents, misuse or improper care
  • Normal wear and tear, such as scratches, dents or band thinning
  • Damage from alterations, resizing or repairs done by another jeweller
  • Stones lost because of a hard knock or forceful impact

Conditions of coverage

  • The warranty applies only to the original purchaser, and proof of purchase is required.
  • All claims are subject to inspection. If we find a manufacturing defect, we'll repair the piece, or remake it if needed, at no charge.
  • If the damage falls outside the warranty, we can still repair it at a fair price. We'll send you a quote before doing any work.
  • If a design has to be fully remade (for example, an eternity band that can't be resized), a remake fee of $500 to $1,000 applies.

How to make a claim

To start a warranty claim, email us at canadajewelryhub@gmail.com with:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Photos and/or a video showing the defect

Once we've reviewed your claim, we'll send you the next steps, including shipping instructions. Shipping to and from our studio is the customer's responsibility.

Good to know

  • Routine maintenance, such as cleaning and prong tightening, is part of caring for your jewelry and isn't covered by this warranty.
  • We may decline a claim if we believe the issue was caused by misuse, neglect or intentional damage.
  • This warranty gives you specific legal rights and can't be transferred to anyone else.
